Before 2005

The Roots of a Dream

Originally from Togo, Jude's connection to Canada began through music. From the age of 12, he sang about this distant country on his guitar. Later, as a law student, he defended Canadian colors in academic simulations. Canada was then just an ideal embedded in his subconscious, but the desire to cross the ocean kept growing.

December 2006

The Big Leap and Reality

Law degree in hand, Jude arrives in Beauport with his wife and two children. Faced with the complexity of diploma equivalency and refusing to commit to a long doctorate in order to prioritize his family's survival, he shows humility. He sets aside his gown to work at Fix Auto and in the hotel industry, learning the hard realities of his adopted homeland.

2006 – 2015

The Audacity to Entrepreneurship

Following a friend's advice to "let his other side speak", Jude founds Cuir Esthética in 2006. With no credit history, shunned by banks, he relies on community organizations and his own determination. He proves his expertise piece by piece, demonstration after demonstration, turning early skepticism into a solid reputation.

2016 – 2024

Cultural Outreach and Expansion

The company thrives and opens a branch in Montreal. But Jude does not stop at business: he wants to give back. He co-founds Ataensha Productions and the MondoKarnaval festival, enriching Quebec culture with the rhythms of Africa. His journey becomes a model to inspire youth, proving that one can succeed here without forgetting where one comes from.

2025 – 2026

Accessible Innovation

After 20 years restoring his clients' most precious possessions, Jude takes a new historic step. He launches his own line of leather care products, the fruit of his unique expertise. What was an artisan's secret is now available to the general public: a professional solution, ready for the mass market.
